I graduated from the Air Force Dental Laboratory Technology program, School of Health Care Sciences, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas in 1976. While many technicians have knowledge and experience only in the area for which they function, I have over 8 years experience in all aspects of  removeable chrome framework production, 1 year experience in orthodontics, 4 years experience in full dentures, and over 20 years experience in crown and bridge work. I passed my CDT boards for Fixed on the  first attempt in 1992 and retired from United States Air Force October 1996. 

Subsequently I  worked for a large full service laboratory in southeast Pennsylvania, then as a research and development technician for Dentsply TruByte. I founded Select Dental Studio at the suggestion of a local dentist who saw a need for a laboratory which could provide high-quality restorative products. Since 1998, Select Dental Studio has developed strong working relationships with some of the finest dental practitioners in York and the surrounding area.

I am continually looking to new techniques and methods of utilizing materials to improve the product I deliver. Additionally, I must yearly attend continuing education courses in order to maintain my Certified Dental Technician status. To this end I look to courses offered by the acknowledged leaders in the laboratory industry for courses & seminars they offer.
